She’s Surely Sizzling! – Dressing Your Truth Makeover

I live by the belief that every woman is beautiful. Now sometimes that beauty is hidden or muted, but it’s always there, waiting to be fully expressed.

And if you are a Type 3 woman, like Judy in this makeover, you can reveal your sizzling hot beauty no matter what age you are!

In this Dressing Your Truth makeover, you can see in the Before photo that Judy was tapping somewhat into her “beauty sixth sense.” With her patterned, edgy top, she was certainly drawn to that quality, but it wasn’t in a rich color. That combined with the flowing, muted cardigan, her clothes were hiding her radiant fire.

After, in the gorgeous peacock blue shade and a substantial, textured cardigan, the clothing totally supports her true Type of Beauty. The right hair cut, style and highlights plus accessories changes her whole appearance—even her smile!

Judy’s makeover shows us what a difference accessorizing makes! Before, Judy had no accessories to support her rich, dynamic beauty. After, with the right kind of belt, earrings, necklace and bracelet for her Type, she sizzles in her true nature!

Accessorize appropriately…for your Type

As you can see in Judy’s Before photo, there are several Type 3 women who shy away from wearing jewelry or accessories, thinking it’s not practical in some way.

But with their textured, substantial energy, Type 3 women can pull off chunkier pieces and still be more aligned with their feminine natures. I like to joke that Type 3′s wear “weapons”—because our jewelry is heavier with more substance and edge to it.

And not every Type 3 may feel comfortable sporting all accessories at once, but I encourage you to challenge yourself and go big with appropriate accessories for your Type and see how you feel. You just might surprise yourself.

    You are beautiful Judy. Your after picture looks effortless and very *you*. In the before pictures I find that my eyes *settle* on the clothing. In the after picture my eyes seem to take in everything as a whole and see you.
    This is what I find amazing about Dressing Your Truth. Even though there is more going on in the after picture- there is more colour, more accessories- none of it overpowers you. You totally wear it and you look very rich and dynamic.

    Judy’s makeover is one important thing that steered me into exploring that I might be a T3 myself. In the first picture, Judy looks very subdued. The “after” picture is just amazing! I notice her gorgeous eyes, her beautiful smile, and her rockin’ bod! She’s HOT! Good for you, Judy! And, thank you for showing the way for other T3s to find themselves!

    Wow! – That peacock color and cream with that huge chunky angled ribbed collar is totally cool; That streaky edgy hairstyle, even though your hair is roughly the same length, now completely flatters you; You look dynamic, happy and sexy!

    When I look at the before pic, Judy is smiling but there is no light. Its as if she is afraid to say “I am here”. In the after pic, a different story is told. She’s not only saying I’m here but she is shouting it out with a smile that carries to her eyes. The colour in the clothes is picked up in the radiance also.

    I was glad to see this makeover because like Judy, I have a soft face that sends more of a mixed message than a clear message that I am a Type 3 if I do not straighten my hair in areas because it is has a lot of wave. I do get tired of straightening my hair though but when I do not, I am not dressing my truth and looking like a Type 3 but rather a Type 2 or 1. Thanks, I could really relate to this makeover of Judy.

    Also, I am a Type 3 that is not comfortable in jewelry – I don’t even wear my wedding ring. Sometimes I will wear a necklace and it just doesn’t feel right to me. I am glad that I ran across this blog because I have been leaving the accessorizing out of my Type 3 wardrobe and obviously am still not portraying the full effect of my Type 3 beauty. I now realize that I need to experiment more in this area. Thanks!
