Just wanted to say thanks again for the patience all of you extended to me.
I’ve had a pretty interesting day today. I wanted to thank Carol again for giving me the makeup, if you would please pass that on to her.
The makeup is the only thing that I was still feeling a little uncomfortable about, but I decided this morning that I would just go with it. I never put on make-up but it wasn’t as time consuming or difficult as I thought it would be. My hair this morning looked exactly the same, I just combed through it, it was perfect. I put on my make-up, I admit I didn’t go for the bold bright red, I stained my lips red and then added the clear gloss (baby steps) and that still looked like too much to me.
I had to drop some things off at one of my friends homes this morning. She opened the door and just about died. She could not believe how awesome my hair looked and then she sat me down and asked me 100 questions about the whole process for the next hour. She kept commenting over and over how great I looked. While we were still talking another neighbor called to borrow something and I could see her walking across the street, I started to panic, as this is a very critical neighbor – a good friend but someone who will tell you right out what she thinks. She came in the door, looked at me and said your hair is amazing – you look 10 years younger, she asked what size I was wearing, it was hilarious. Then I had to go through the whole experience, explaining who and what and why all over again.
I thought you would appreciate knowing that my close friends who have never seen me with makeup thought it looked perfect and that the colors were perfect and it didn’t look at all too much. Church should be interesting.
I’m wondering if you could give me a mailing address for both Anna (make-up) and Nicole, for my hair. I just wanted to thank them both personally.
Thanks again! My husband is absolutely thrilled!
