My Energy Profiling Ah-Ha Moment

Energy Profiling

I had an Energy Profiling Ah-Ha moment on my flight to Columbus, Ohio today to attend my son-in-laws Med School graduation from The Ohio State University.

Boarding the plane I greeted our fight attendant who had all the physical features of a dominant Type 3.  The more textured skin, more hyperpigmentation in her skin, coarser hair, chiseled jawline, exotic eyes….etc.

I knew for sure she was a Type 3 when her voice came booming… over the loudspeaker!  You see Type 3′s tend to talk louder than other Types and not know it.

When I was dating Jon, he used to hold the phone away from his ear when we were talking since I spoke so loud.

My Ah-Ha moment came when I realized that knowing this about our flight attendant suspended all judgment that her behavior was unacceptable.   Without Energy Profiling I could of easily judged her behavior to be unacceptable and extreme.

Instead, I chuckled and realized that I had absolutely no judgment, but real love and appreciation for her living her truth!

I was on the phone wth my daughter Annie, Type 2, soon after this and jokingly said, “I am sorry for all the times I talked so loud and didn’t know it!”  She just laughed knowing that my true nature was to do just that.

Energy Profiling is an amazing system that expands our awareness of who we are and who other’s are with one of the main benefits being the freedom of judging others.

Check it out and give yourself a lot of Ah-Ha’s that will bless your life and the life of others!

    Hi Carol,
I have loved the book so much I’ve read it twice and I’ve taken the online course and reviewed the modules several times…gathering all the details…yes, Type 2 here. I love trying to figure out people and better understanding them with this insight.

I’ve particularly found it helpful in better appreciating my Type 3 very LOUD father. He fits the mold so well in his look with his textured skin, deep laugh lines from his eyes to his mouth (he looks so similar to the man in one of the shots in your video), he’s all about getting to the point and getting it done (he cleans the kitchen and speed shops just as you described). Anyway, he’s always received criticism from the family in restaurants or social gatherings for his booming voice that we have judged as embarrassing or inappropriate and it makes me sad that he’s been so misunderstood. I am grateful to have this insight so I can accept him and support him in being his fun-loving, gregarious, charismatic self.

I recently shared the book with him and he’s already quoting parts back to me as he refers to his Type 3 self and his reactions and thoughts.

Sharing this with my friends and family and on my website has been a real pleasure. I truly cannot wait for the follow up books on Relationships, and Workplace etc.

    Keep up the great work!
    Sandy

      Thanks Sandy,

I love your story about your dad, thanks for sharing that.

I also visited your website and read your page about Energy Profiling, thank you for putting it out there to help more people!

True to your Type 2 nature you shared some great details! One thing I am changing in the book that you might like to change on your page about Energy Profiling is the essence of movement for the Type 4. I am changing it from Stillness to Exactness. Stillness make it appear that these are very still people in their physical expression, when the stillness is an inner quality. Type 4 people can buzz around like anyone else with a lot of movement, they just do it in a very exact and precise way!!

Thanks for all you are doing.

After talking with you on your show Sunday I had a (well more than one)great Ah-Ha moment of my own. Energy profiling is about the movement. I carry and exhibit many of the profiling types characteristics in both my features and actions but—Here’s the Ah Ha—It’s about the movement. Inside I am still. I can still hear my mother getting after me because I don’t like to rock in the glider swing with her.
I don’t think of my movement as exact or precise, though I see that in my very type 4 daughter, because I get too overwhelmed in the chaos of my piles and to do’s, and to didn’ts.
Deep down I’m solid, still, always there, a quiet refuge, and I see how many of my friends have been drawn to that when their lives get out of control or full of pain.
As you have said everyone exhibits some of all the energy types and uses them in their daily lives. I pile like a 2 and smile like a three, etc. etc. etc. That is why typing myself has been such a difficult task. (I think that’s probably a fairly Type 4 statement in itself ;-) But for me, it does come down to the movement, or rather the joy in being still.
Thanks again for being willing to make a difference.

    Carol..

For the past 2 years I have been on my “awareness journey”, searching to define who I truly am. In my journey, I was referred to your book “Remembering Wholeness” by a cranial sacral therapist. It reopened my eyes to a reality that I had forgotten or suppresed my entire life. I read the book several times, I even purchased the CD’s so that I could listen to it as I drove to work. Your words have helped me become aware again as to who I am and to whom I belong to. It also help me to understand the experiences and people that I have had in my life and treasure them as gifts rather than trials.

Then, to complete the circle of my self awareness, you presented your book “It’s Just my Nature”. At first, I was determined to prove to myself that I was not a Type III. Interestingly enough though, deep inside I knew that it was my true nature and as I pondered on the why I was so resisitant to accept that, I realized that it was because I had never been allowed to act within my true nature. I have always been critized for my strong drive and for not fitting into the “mold” of other women in my world. Which led me to feel that I was inadequate and not good enough, because I didn’t fit the mold of being the calm, submissive, non-questioning woman that I was taught that I was supposed to be. I was sufficating in that world. Leading me to fighting with depression and low self esteem. Now I know why I was so depressed and I feel so liberated to be able to accept the fact that it is just who I am and rejoice in that knowledge. It’s ok to be me! and I can now honor the true nature of those who are around me.

I am in a wonderful place right now in my life and I am so happy to be able to say that I can accept that and rejoice in the knowledge that I have gained and use that knowledge to bless the lives of others. I can love and honor those who are around me and help them understand who they truly are.

My husband is a full on Type I with a Type II subtype. He is a full board ADHD, brilliant individual, who too has struggled with acceptance through out his life. You can imagine the energy that moves through our home when we are both moving in our true nature. I am hopeful that as I attempt to present my new found discovery to him and pray that he will be able to embrace it so that he too can experience the joy that is felt when you can accept yourself for who you are and appreciate those that are around you.

Talk about an “Ah-Ha Moment”! More like a miracle!

Thank you Carol. Thank you for having the courage and strength to move forward on the inspiration that you received to present this valuable, life changing information to the world. You have blessed the lives of so many and I know that you too will be blessed in return.
