Ever felt like you don’t have enough money?
Chances are, you’re not looking to be a millionaire (although it sounds like it would be nice!). Consider the possibility that what you really want is enough money to have an enjoyable life, take care of your family, have some fun, and live true to your higher purpose. You want money to manifest in your life as a resource for good.
If you feel like you don’t have enough, you might have beliefs about money that keep you captive in an energy that doesn’t serve you and your highest purpose.
Use these 3 steps to shift with money:
Last week, I shared a video with you of Ken, who didn’t value his Type 1, upward, light nature. Today, I’m talking with Ken’s wife, Clarice. And she’s surprised to hear that she needs to shift as much as Ken does.
I’m excited that her shift in perspective can also help you shift in 3 important ways:
1. Identify Your Family Story
Much of your current beliefs about money can be traced back to your family story about money. Clarice’s father worked hard in Tahiti to give his family a better financial situation. That’s wonderful! But some of the beliefs Clarice has taken from her family story are actually getting in her way.
2. Recognize Your Role
Ken has been pushing Clarice’s buttons, but his struggles with money have revealed her own limiting beliefs. He’s played a role for her to mirror back to her what HER beliefs were. Watch the video to discover with Clarice what they are.
3. Be Accountable
It’s not enough to recognize that a problem exists. You need to be willing to own the idea that you create your own life. And when it’s not going the way you’d like, you need to take charge of releasing your limiting beliefs and creating something you DO want.
Like I say in the video, be 100% accountable for your 50% of the dance.
Follow along with Clarice and I and learn how to make your money appreciate:
I would love to hear your own tips and realizations about money. Please share a comment.
Continue giving yourself daily support
Here are some of the affirmations Clarice used. Change them to fit your own situation and use them remind yourself whenever you need.
Put your hand on your heart and say:
- Even though I’m using money to make me feel more valuable, I deeply love and accept myself.
- Even though I’ve been really angry and demanding, I deeply love and accept myself.
- I forgive myself. I just thought that’s the way it was. I forgive my husband. Everyone’s doing the best they know how.
- I’m letting go, releasing the belief that money gives me value, the feeling that I’m in the lower class again.
- I’m letting go, releasing my demands. As long as I have demands, I will keep receiving what I don’t want so I can learn this lesson.
- I am receiving my value from God, my true source.
- I am experiencing money as a beautiful resource to support everyone.
- I am blessed. I am seeing my blessings now.
Let go of the idea that money gives you more power, and create the belief that money is an energy, a resource that is flowing into your life. There is enough money for you!

Sigh, that was good to hear and watch again. Thank you Carol for working with us as a couple. I may have to watch this several times to get to the heart of my problems again, but one thing I have done is “appreciate” more. We’re also teaching our children the concept of manifesting money in their lives through vision boards, so things are changing in this family! How great that once we heal ourselves we don’t pass on the same problems to our children in their adult lives.
Can I ask that we fix the typo in my name from Clarese to Clarice? It’s not that big of a deal, I’ve been used to it being spelled all kinds of ways in my life, but just for authenticity’s sake it would be nice to see it the right way. Thanks! (funny, I had a feeling that would happen)

Thanks Clarice, glad to hear there is some great things happening for your family- way to go! I will see that your name is spelled correctly, thanks for asking for that. Love, Carol

Thanks for being vulnerable, Clarice. These two recordings on money have really helped me alot. Even though, my “story” is way different, the underlying principles of relating to money are the same. Thanks for sharing this topic, Carol.

Clarice, appreciation in general changed everything for me and my husband. At the heart of my problems was a belief that there is not enough to go around and that, for a variety of reasons, I would never be one of the lucky ones who have more than enough. I had to start believing that I was just as worthy of love and other good stuff as anyone else.

Clarice, I APPRECIATE you and VALUE your friendship!

It’s very *bold* and exciting to hear Carol discuss class differences and expectations in such a straightforward way. Worth anyone’s time to watch!

Very helpful to see Ken and Clarice’s individual family money stories and how they fit together. Thank you Clarice, Ken, and Carol! Hope you do a follow up in a month or so.
With Clarice’s story, I see now I need to clear more of my beliefs around being not worthy of financial support (from Spirit, from my husband, from my parents when I was younger). There is enough and my life is truly abundant.
My coach and I recently detangled the beliefs that my healing work has no value unless it’s giving me financial self-sufficiency. I really got that my work has intrinsic value and has already touched many people. I also got that I’ve kept at it, because it is truly my work to do. Funny how the pressure to make things financially successful may have been in the way of my healing practice growing!
Thanks again, Carol, for the great work! I learn so much from you.

I love the He said/She said link with these two videos. I especially appreciate the EFT affirmations – they’re helpful for everyone. It’s so good to remember that we are all blessed.

Thank you so much, Carol and Clarice!!
This was wonderful, and I completely relate to every bit of this. My husband was laid off nearly two years ago (early retirement they called it). He was 57 then, and I felt he should have looking for another job. He feels he doesn’t have to, and we have been going along on his severence package, but he enjoys watching TV a lot and has many interests. The only reason he can do this is because over the years, I have done without a lot of things, and it makes me angry that he didn’t even attempt to find another job, even part-time. He comes from a well off family that has never done one thing for us and I come from the opposite, but I had an extremely good job that gave us a huge start, and then he wanted me to quit to look after the kids full time. I do believe that he wanted to be looked after. This video has helped me immensely, and it couldn’t have come at a better time. Thank you.

Ohh, Ken and Clarice, I feel like I’m the two of you rolled into one- a Type 1 with a father who escaped Communist-ruled Slovakia in 1969 to come and make a better life in Australia. I don’t even know which video this comment should respond to- both? What I want to say is relevant to both, but I think moreso to this.
I always feel like I’m somehow letting him and Mum down by not being more “settled” or something, but I’m also completely devaluing my gifts and talents (and like a proper 1/4, I seem to have a LOT but don’t know which to choose!) Mum even told me, “There are so many actors out there, and it’s more about chance than skill.” (I hope Ken doesn’t believe what my well-intentioned by fearful mother instilled in me when I was studying theatre at university!) Not to mention everything else negative that she said about having a career in the arts, which I suppose was my own insecurity, guilt and fear.
So thank you to both of you (and to Carol as always), my faith is being rebuilt. And I wanted to share that I tapped in these affirmations last night, and then today I just received remittance advice from a Government Arts Funding body today for a creative project
I’d already been told I had been awarded the grant, but the process to actually getting the money seemed so have a million setbacks and delays… So this was fantastic!
Lots of love to all of you <3

Thanks Carol and Clarice,
For me the issue of worthiness is big- as I pursued art as my advocation for over 25 years but have always had to rely on teaching and my husband to pay the bills- with a heavy dose of the starving artist belief in the forefront-duh…
This video gave me a huge insight into the idea that it is okay to rely on him, his good job that I never fail to honor and appreciate. While listening I realized that I have a super successful life doing what I love- that money does not have to be the indicator of my success.
Oh, and that old starving artist belief is being busted as I write…tap, tap, tap.

I’m so thankful to be on the mailing list so I can read the inspiring stories. This one of Clarice and Ken has been very helpful. I have been working extra hard to make a better living for us so we can follow our dreams of owning 50 acres where our entire family of married children can live off the land and homeschool their children. My husband (who continues to work for a stable company for 25 years)and I have done many different business attempts to make a better living than what we currently have but have never been successful. We have been through 2 business bankruptcys with different businesses. We currently are on the last 3 years of the 2nd bankruptcy and I’m currently trying to make a go at another bussiness and I’m starting again to fail. I work really hard at everything I do. We give generously with our time and money to our church and charities and our only dream is to be able to take care of our children and serve missions for our church. It seems like a worthy enough cause but I continue to run into road blocks stopping my way. But because of this video I will be able to overcome my money problem thinking. I just need to be continually grateful for my blessings and not let anything get me down and I will be successful. God loves me and wants us to have what we need. So thank you again for your help.

I told the girls on our table so they all started tapping and they all were winning other races that afternoon…thanks…x

Yes call or take her to the VET immediately!!! If you ate a brillo pad it would prolly bother you too. You owe it to your dog as her owner to call a vet now, when you noticed it would have been better but… The soap will prolly upset her stomach, but the pad itself if not dissolved in her digestive fluids may causing trouble when trying to pass it.CALL NOW to be safe!!!
