Energize Your 5th Chakra and Speak Up!

Do you say the right words when you mean to say them? Or do you go over in your mind what you wish you would have said, only too late?

Imagine speaking up, knowing confidently that you will be heard and understood. Fifth chakra healing opens you up to that possibility.

What is Your 5th Chakra?

Also called the throat chakra, the 5th chakra is a vibrating disc of energy that expresses itself near your neck. The role of the throat chakra energy is to help you experience the ability to speak your truth clearly.

Our ability to communicate starts at a very young age. If you were ever told as a child to either be quiet or to speak up, you may need to energize your 5th chakra more than you think.

How to Energize Your 5th Chakra

In this video, I give you some tips, take you through a simple exercise, and give you a fun activity to help you get in touch with what you really have to say. I also explain how the movie, The King’s Speech, incorporates some methods very supportive to this chakra.

Will you go and do the writing activity that I recommended? Please share your thoughts in a comment.

Assess your own 5th Chakra

Open and Balanced

When this energetic center is open and balanced, you will speak your thoughts clearly and others will hear you. You will find the right words in any situation. And what you say will be an honest expression of your true self.

You will feel confident speaking up for yourself and voicing your point of view. When you interact with others, your communication will feel open and sincere. Others will hear you and receive what you have to share with appreciation.

Closed or Weak

If your throat chakra is closed or weak, your voice may also feel blocked. You may second-guess what you say to others. You may want to express something, but not find the words or the courage to say it.

A closed or weak fifth chakra can set you up for physical illness in that area of energetic expression of your body—the throat area. Sore throats and persistent coughing and clearing your throat are just a few examples.

What to do about it

If your 5th chakra is closed or weak, it’s time to find your voice. Do the voice and writing exercises I shared in the video. Discover what your inner child never got to say.

    Thank You, Carol,
This series has been a great help to me since my throat chakra has been closed and I have a hard time knowing what to say. These tips on opening the chakras are nice because they’re easy to do.

I already have the Chakra 7 and have done some things suggested on there, but I’ve gotten distracted with other things. I really need to get back to the exercises. I’m sure they will help. Thank you again for all your help.

This excercise is about the heart chakra. It’s great and I’m thankful for it. But I was expecting the throat chakra excercise, so I’m a bit confused.

I love this, I want to try the journalling! I am left-handed. Should I still switch to my non-dominant hand which is my right hand… will it work? Thanks!

    • LiveYourTruthCustomerSupport

Yes, use your non-dominant hand, which for you would be the right. Enjoy this exercise and may it bring you to more understanding and authentic expression.
