Inner Love, Outer Loveliness! Dressing Your Truth Before and After

Something remarkable happens when a woman comes to love and accept her true inner nature.

Something even more amazing happens when she knows exactly how to express that nature outwardly.

Look at Stacey’s Before and After picture. She looks just fine in her Before picture. She’s obviously put together with accessories and a fun hair color. But in her After picture, her face just comes to life. I love it!

Everything she’s wearing—including her clothes, makeup, jewelry, accessories, and hairstyle—supports her naturally soft, subtle Type of beauty, and so her style really highlights the beautiful woman that she is.

Do you know what I love best about her makeover? In Stacey’s after picture, she just looks at peace with herself and with who she is. She’s absolutely beautiful!

The natural gift that Stacey’s gentle, flowing nature offers the world is peace. Now that she knows her natural gift and has the tools to express her true nature in her style, you can see that inner peace in her face. Isn’t that amazing?

Don’t you just love her makeover? Please share a positive comment.

  • Ann

She looks amazing! Warmer, softer, happier! Great stuff!

  • Sue

Stacey; you just went from being beautiful to being absolutely radiant. Congrats.

  • Ruth

Beautiful! I also am a type 2 and love all things elegant. Very feminine.

  • Pamela

Wow. She looks sharp in the first picture; very professional. But the second one she looks so pretty and feminine and approachable; very happy and I can see myself having a nice conversation with her.

Wonderful job on a very lovely woman!

  • Trish

I love her makeover! I love her hair! I keep thinking it would be easier to get my hair more wild and crazy if it had some natural wave to it like that. But its flat as a board. So I have to go to town to get a good T3 look.

  • Nicki

I actually think she stands out more after her makeover! Her soft, subtleness reaches out and grabs others. She’s beautiful!

    • Barb

I agree with you, when we are dressing according to our type, we do stand out. I am a type 2, and thought that dressing in soft, muted colors and not wearing a lot of “bling” would make me blend into the background even more. Instead, my experience has been that people have been saying that I look amazing and fabulous! I have never had those type of sincere compliments before. People approach me more out in public, I get better service at stores. It is not because my clothes stand out, they just support me in representing my true self to others. For the first time, I am beginning to sense the true power of who I am.

Love her new hair color! It’s obviously on the warm side of the t2 colors – what would that color be called? I always think of ash in a t2 color – but that seems to contradict the soft warmth in her hair — It’s when I see that kind of hair color I wonder if I’m a type 2…

  • Bev

    A very lovely lady.

  • Barb

Carol, could you please address Katie’s comment? How can Stacey be Type 2 when she is so obviously warm-toned skin and hair? Type 2’s are supposed to be cool…

    • Carol

      Hi Barb-

Beauty Profiling does not take into consideration warm or cool skin and hair tones. When we talk about warm or cool we are referring to the nature of the energy. We have seen women of both warm and cool skin and hair tones in every Type, in this case due to her primary Type 2 being a cool energy and her secondary energy being a warm energy she is a neutral when she chooses a hair color. Her hair color is from a neutral group of hair color choices. This is information we teach you in the Dressing Your Truth online training. Hope this helps.

  • Emily

Katie brings up a great point. We often see variance in hair color among all types. While we traditionally think of cool and ash tones working best for a Type 2, neutral and even neutral/warm tones CAN work. One example of this is with natural strawberry blonde hair. Another example is with darker shades of hair that look better with a little highlighting to soften the harshness and saturation of color. This is the case with Stacey’s hair. Also, the lighting in the photo makes the hair appear warmer that it actually is. In person, Stacey’s hair has a more neutral look.

I hope this helps clear things up!

So Carol, are you saying that a person’s Dressing Your Truth inner personality type should be considered more important than one’s outer colouring when deciding what to wear? What if our Dressing Your Truth colours CLASH with our natural colouring?

    • Carol

Dear Mimi, Yes that is what I am saying. Your energetic expression is more important than you out coloring. We have seen women in each of my 4 Types of beauty of every coloring you can imagine and when they learn to Dress Their Truth and learn not only the colors, but the design lines, fabrications, textures, and patterns for their energetic expression- their Type of beauty, they all look amazing. It’s very revolutionary, but it works every time! I encourage you to test it out for yourself. Thanks for the comment.
