Carol, your story about eyebrows and the inability of your mom and you to connect in that situation and find a solution, made me remember how when I was in about 4th grade the long black hair on my forearms was amazing for a skinny little kid. My gosh. Some of the boys teased me about it. Likewise on my calves. So dark and long for a little kid. I fussed about this hairiness issue for a while and finally asked Mama what we could do about this? She kindly taught me how to soap up my legs and shave them. And I’ve been doing it ever since. (Lately, in my old age, I hardly have hair on my legs at all any more.) She also bought me some Nair, (remember that stuff?) and we dehaired my forearms. What a sweet mom, to help me out on those two issues. I’ve always loved my mighty eyebrows, which are beautiful. Thanks for the stories.

    Anita.
