I learned a great lesson from Billy Joel and Elton John last night. When we live true to our nature we never grow old.
Both these music icons are a dominant Type 1 energy. Their natural expression is one of brilliance, light, free, bouncy, and fresh. Their natural gifts are ideas and to believe in the possibility of their ideas. When in their presence you naturally feel a lightness and playfulness. This is true for everyone that is a dominant Type 1 energy.
Last night I attended their “Face2Face” concert, and boy what a treat!
I felt the rush of the true expression of these 2 men start to move through the crowd when the 2 piano’s came rising up from the stage. Then as they both walked up on stage from opposite sides to greet each other in the middle, their brilliant energy flooded the stadium. As I always am when I am in the presence of someone who is powerfully living their truth, I was moved to tears.
The next 3 1/2 hours these men showed me that if you stay true to your nature, your dominant Energy Type, throughout your life you make growing old obsolete.
They were as brilliant and entertaining as when I saw them 33 years ago when I was 18 years old.
Thanks guys, I plan on being edgy, sure, determined, and looking hot well into my 80′s and beyond – true to my Type 3 nature!
