How do you feel when things don’t work out the way you planned?
Ever feel angry? Or feel like you failed?
When we feel like we lose control of our lives, we often experience a sense of failure or resentment.
Rick joins me today to talk about some big life goals that didn’t work out the way he thought they should. I’m glad that Rick is here because it’s just as important for men to get in touch with their emotional expressions as it is for women.
Nobody wants to feel like a failure. And everyone can experience more joy.
In this mini-healing session, we discuss Rick’s diagnosis of multiple sclerosis, and how it affected his highest career aspirations. And then he learns how to let go of his resentment and feelings of failure.
Would you like to feel free of failure? Would you like to find out where resentment comes from? And how to let it go? Watch the video and pay attention to what this little exercise brings up in you…
How did this session help you see disappointments and so-called failures in your life a little differently? Aren’t you impressed by Rick’s willingness to experience these feelings and then let them go? Please share your thoughts in a comment.
For more support like this, you can purchase the resource I shared with Rick at the end of the video. My 2-hour, best-selling audio CD seminar, Clearing Your Childhood Issues, will help you to let go of resentment and failure and experience a life full of joy.

I would like to add my thanks, not only to you, but to Rick for opening up about this prevalent issue. I also am a Type 4, and I have been struggling with the issues of failure and shame my entire life, which I have been working on emotionally for the past year. Thank you for helping open my eyes to a different view of how to overcome these issues. I agree with your statement precisely that I would rather co-create my life with God than control it by myself. Sincerest regards.

I sat in on this session and my secondary 4 LOOOOOOOVED IT!
The statement that hit me between the eyes was “It’s OK; there are other ways to achieve greatness.”

Rick’s willingness to share his life changing event- amazes me! I so appreciate it- I too am on a different path than imagined and I latched on to the things that emerged in this session. What really stood out to me was Carol’s comment near the end- that instead of controlling our lives to co-create it with God. That’s beautiful, powerful and inspiring to me.
