Why Dressing Your Truth for Men Rocks—In This Man’s Words

It’s here! Dressing Your Truth for Men has arrived!

To celebrate the launch of the men’s course this week, I’m going to share with you something extra here on the blog that you won’t see anywhere else: Real words from real men who volunteered to be a part of the production of the Dressing Your Truth for Men online course!

Today, find out from Scott how his life has changed since Dressing His Truth.

Dressing Your Truth for Men: A big production with a big result!

I can honestly say this course became much bigger than anything we originally imagined. But all of us on our team at Live Your Truth were guided and inspired to create this amazing course to empower and support men.

Watch the new Dressing Your Truth for Men video trailer

When I first saw this video, I got so excited, I probably watched it at least 10 times.

In creating Dressing Your Truth for Men this year, we had more than 100 men apply to be featured in this course. It wasn’t easy, but we eventually narrowed it down 17 men—you’ll see their transformations in the “Real Looks” sections when you get all 4 Types men’s online courses.

Scott is one of those 17 men. He’s a 33-year-old Type 1SM man who works in sales. (You can watch Scott’s full story in the Dressing Your Truth for Men Type 1 online course.)

First, see Scott’s transformation, and then read what he wrote to us about his experience—including what his wife told him!

Scott: A lively and fun TYPE 1 man

It was so fun to work with Scott and to see him come alive in his true nature. I could say so many good things about Scott (which you’ll hear in the men’s online course). But I want you to hear from Scott himself about his experience since going through the program.

His words speak for themselves:

In Scott’s own words:

Since being involved with Dressing Your Truth for Men, I have felt fully comfortable in my clothes for the first time in my life. I do not have name brand clothing in my closet, but the choices that I make in the colors I wear and how I wear them get me compliments from people on a daily basis.”

“It is so easy”

As a Type 1 man, I don’t ever have to wonder if black is not a good color on me….It’s not! Seriously though, with Dressing Your Truth program for men it is so easy for me to pick out clothing. That part of my day is no longer stressful.

“My wife says I shine more and more”

I have always been conscience of what I wear, and have always wanted to look good. A great weight has been lifted off my shoulders because I don’t have to wonder anymore. Something that has also changed in my life is that everyone has noticed that I haven’t been afraid to be myself. I don’t have to be serious all the time!

My wife says that every day that goes by, I shine more and more. My relationships have also improved because when I dress my truth, I give others the opportunity to be themselves as well.

“I have felt more masculine, more confident”

In a nut shell: I have felt more masculine, more open, more confident, and less concerned with what others think. Why? Because I know I look good! No pride, just truth: I feel it therefore I know it!” ~ Scott

Experience Dressing Your Truth for Men for yourself

What a great video. I am very excited to see if my fiancé will be interested in DYT for Men. He is hesitant about it, so I would just like to put the intention out there. The intention that he will come to know his truth and will embrace this amazing knowledge in his own way and on his own time. Thank you to everyone on the DYT for Men team for all of your hard work. If the course is even half as good as this intro video (which I know it will be twenty times better), then the information received in it will be priceless. Simply because it will provide the men participating with confidence, a strong sense of self, and a feeling of being comfortable in their own skin.

I just sent this to my husband. The intro is fantastic, and I think he will be itching to jump on board! I think I should encourage him to read my copy of It’s Just My Nature before he buys the course. We think he’s a fun one, but I think if he reads the book first, he will feel more a part of the process! Ooooh, I’m excited!!!

Oh you just FEEL the joy coming from Scott!!! I am so very happy for him. The world -society actually – which is simply people, not some carved in stone Law – has this idea that men need to be this way – and this way only. If you want to be your best – you must be ‘this’ way. I LOVE LOVE LOVE that men now have the resources and knowledge from DYT for Men! They have been freed from the world’s notions of what and who they should be – and their own misconceptions about themselves. BRAVO Scott and ALL the men in DYT for Men!! Here’s to all the men of the world finding that freedom. Imagine a world where everyone was honored and respected to be themselves – and honored and respected everyone else for the same!! Perhaps THAT’S where world peace lies. :-)

I love that DYT gives people “permission” to be who they already are.

When I first discovered DYT, I typed my DH as a 4/2 or a 4/3, because he lives primarily as a Perfectionist, but is also soft-spoken & gets things done. He’s shared that he actually has suppressed (he uses the word “overcome”) his tendencies to blurt out random comments & “goof off” all the time.

Society has enforced the notion that Type 1s (especially T1 men) are immature & irresponsible. At this point, I’m pretty sure my DH is actually a 1/4 who’s been living like a 4 because that’s how men (or his male role models) act.

Cool! I love to see that this is affecting even the guys in all the different areas of their lives!

I want to watch videos on how to know your type for men. Some of the stereotypes about the various types may be true for all people but some fit better for women. As we all know T3 and T4 have some characteristics that seem more masculine. I need more examples of masculine energy in T1 and T2.
