Today’s essential tip today will help you improve your skin complexion.
Think back to the last skin care commercial you saw. I bet the model’s skin was like porcelain, with miniature pores, and no spots anywhere.
That’s because the beauty industry only shows women one kind of skin quality in its advertisements. Add airbrushing to the mix, and no wonder so many women wonder how to improve their skin complexion. They feel like their skin is inadequate. And it’s just not true!
Improving Skin Complexion Naturally
Your skin complexion is one of the most honest expressions of your natural movement as a woman.
My Beauty Profiling system reveals 4 qualities of natural beauty. And skin complexion is one of the assessments for knowing which Type of Beauty you are!
If you want to know how to improve your skin, your Beauty Profile will help you understand its natural qualities. Then you can honor your skin’s natural complexion and treat it the way it responds best.
For example, a Type 1, bright, animated woman has a specific quality of skin, with its own strengths and challenges.
Watch the video to hear the hallmark features of a bright, animated woman’s skin complexion and what she can do to create a healthy glow, rather than a red, blotchy complexion:
To all our Type 1 bright, animated friends… we love your rosy cheeks and your cute freckles! Please leave a comment and let us know your own skin care tips.

Thanks, Carol, for this! I found out my type 1 skin doesn’t like anything intense-like stringents that a lot of my peers use(college age). For me, I just use very mild hand soap that is unscented and my skin has been great. It still is a little random, but I found that that works to keep my skin light and happy and to not have strong (redness, breaking out, oily!) reactions to other methods. I am excited to try your products.
Also, I was wondering if this is another type 1 thing…smile lines?? I have A TON of those. It’s probably partly from sun damage but I was just wondering if that is more typical of a type 1. Think Dennis Quaid…type 3/1?
Third, today I searched pictures of JK Rowling for a school project. My guess is that she is a Type 1 and in most of her photos I personally don’t really think she dresses her truth-she looks kind of old and haggard and tired, but recently, she has some very beautiful photos of dressing her truth! She looks AMAZING!!! It just reiterated to me what Anne said about when Type 1′s dress their truths they look younger! For sure!!! Especially amongst the more lovely, aged crowd;)
Anyway, I hope that speaks to some Type 1′s out there. Thank you!

You described my skin to a T…rosacea, freckles, moles and all!

Oily/Dry combination with rosiness/ruddness, very fresh complexion and the desire to have “fresh” feeling… SO ME! And the combination small/large pores… YES! I’ve gone off using silicone-based products because I get pimples from them!
I think I’ll be picking up one of those Vitamin C toners
How does your Anti-Redness Serum work? Is it calming? Like Lisa, I tend to have quite sensitive skin- is this Type 1? I guess it IS pretty unpredictable sensitivity, where I won’t get the same reaction to the same product at different times.
I just noticed I use a lot of exclamation marks

Dear @Eileen, thank you for your awesome comment! Your sensitivity is probably occurring with products that are too “harsh” and heavy for your Type 1 skin. Our Type 1 fresh and youthful skin care line will put a smile on your face!! The anti-redness serum helps your blood flow more evenly so you it is not creating the random redness!

Thanks Carol! I think I’ll have to add that to my shopping list, then
HOPEFULLY it’ll work well enough that I can finally go out without worrying that I’m not wearing makeup (because my skin looks better and fresher naturally than any foundation could grant me- I guess this is the benefit of Type 1/4 skin)!
Thanks again for all you’ve done- I love how DRIVEN you are to help others. You’re truly inspirational!
