I’ve been playing with Dressing MY Truth since the end of April… A friend told me about the web-site and I bought it the same day! Just felt Right! I got your book: Discover Your Personal Beauty Profile and “devoured” it… Called my friend… so excited… we/I started talking… I said something about my being a Type 2… (silence on her end of the phone)… “aaaaaa…. no…. I see you as a Type 1.” I proceeded to argue the point… (I don’t argue… esp. with my friend). As we hung up, I said I would take a closer look because I value her opinion. I struggled… I could be any one of these! I knew I couldn’t be a ONE… although… those doodles are mine… after a couple of days… I decided… I Am a One. I have to admit… it wasn’t easy… give up all my silver/turquose jewelry??? (my birthstone)… and realized that I never felt I was good enough for GOLD. I dove into my “Oneness” (to the best of my ablity)… and immediatly felt better.
I’ve worked 16 years in my own business as massage therapist/energy worker… closed it last Sept… Your Idea of Dressing Your Truth is a Wonderful way for everyone to surround themselves in color and pattern/designs that creates Healing Energy with them all the time! THANK YOU Carol… THANK YOU!

I loved this interview! I have just read the book & discovered that I am a type 1. I am still trying to figure out my secondary type. I am waivering between a type 2 & type 4.
Some of the things Debra said really hit home for me. I have people tell me all the time how cute I look, I guess I have been instictivley dressing my truth. I have lots of color in my closet & dresses that have polka dots are kind of my signature :)
I am looking forward to being able to take the online class come fall & really learning all the details. I need a little help figuring out what to do with my naturally wavy hair.

    Hello Carol, ladies,

Awhile ago after reading ‘just my nature’, i found out i must be a type 1, and i am starting to make some changes with that;-)

But i also struggle with several issues, i don’t like some of the colours or patterns of Type 1, f.i. the bright pink i find really horrible with my red hair **shock**!!!
Besides that, i hate looking cute, i even hate being called cute.
I want also keep my sexyness, and dress as a woman, so not so girlish or childlike;-p

I also have difficulties to get rid of the black (I’m into the gothic scene and so is half of my friends’ circle, for goddess sake) and wearing navy blue is just not done, and that is an understatement…;-p
Yes, there is a new direction happening since lately, towards steampunk and darkbrown (leather), and, yes i also dress up in others colours as well. ;-)

Yesterday night my boyfriend (manager-type, i guess T2) did not like the idea of me throwing out the black, at all…
To see what it does to me, I just took all the black out my closet, and layed it on my bed.
My most sexy/fancy dresses are black, or partly black. I am NOT throwing that out, or the black costumes i made myself, with matching hats (in black obviously)…:-((

How can i be really excited and spill the beans if i don’t truly like it?? Or others have to ditch the black too – very funny!

Love to see your reaction on this. I posted a similar post awhile ago already. Thank you, kind regards, Erika
