I’m excited for you to meet the woman in this week’s Dressing Your Truth makeover—a Type 2.

In my Beauty Profiling system, subtle, soft Type 2 women have a naturally subdued quality of beauty.

Because of their gentler nature, they tend to feel like they disappear or blend in with the background. To compensate, they might wear black or bold colors. But when they do, they actually fade away even more!

I’m glad to see that Mary Helen hasn’t done this in her Before picture. She’s already embracing her gentle, Type 2 nature.

Now look at her After picture. The change in her hair is subtle, but oh-so-important. The right cut and product give her hair an elegant, purposeful style. And I love the way she switched up accessories and showed off a shirt with more softened lines that really honor her.

You know where I see the change? In her eyes. Don’t they just come to life in her After picture?
