Health

Your body’s natural design is to be fit and healthy.  These affirmations will open up your body’s ability to achieve this state with less effort. Watch the Free video and then refer to the affirmations below for more help with using this tip.

The following are some of my clients’ favorite affirmations that can be used to empower your body.  To give even more power to these statements, tap on your solar plexus while you repeat them in your thoughts or out loud:

I am healthy and lean.

I give myself recognition beyond food.

I love myself, I love my body, and fat just disappears.

I look nice; I am active; I am enough; and I count.

I am my ideal weight.

I feel great in my clothes.

I enjoy exercising several times a week.

I can say “No.”

It is easy to find other things to do in the evening rather than eating.

I can let down my walls.

I am proud of my body; it did what I told it to do.

My body’s natural state is to be lean.

I am fulfilled.

Food is a resource I manage wisely.

My metabolism works great.

My body knows what to do with what I give it.

I am patient with my body as it learns new habits.

Others notice how great I look and feel.

My organs are relieved of overwork.

I am slim and trim.

My body responds to my thoughts.

I am physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually balanced and healthy.

I am whatever I think and feel I am.

Your body IS listening to you!  Free it up to do the job God gave it to do.  Your body’s natural, God-given state is to be lean and healthy.  What are you telling your body?  Start empowering your body right now and it will amaze you how strong and powerful it really is and how much more successful you will be in letting go of excess weight and gaining more health.

Thank you for this. I’m starting this project now. I’ve been dealing with the languaging of what I want to say for affirmations. This helped and inspired me to come up with some of my own.

I use EFT and TAT. Some “Yeah, buts” that came up are: I don’t like the words “weight loss” It’s as if a part of me felt threatened and not safe. So I’m using “weight release” and “It’s safe for me to let go of this excess weight and fat.” “It’s safe for me to be at a healthy weight”

I found these reasons why we have blocks to be so helpful: They can be turned around into affirmations.
    1, Not possible – I can’t do it
    2. Worth – I don’t deserve to get over this or to be or have ______
    3. Safety – I don’t feel safe
    4. Secondary gain/loss – If I get over this, I’ll lose ____
    5. Authority – My doctor, teacher, parent, society, etc. says I’ll
always have this or be ______
    6. Self-Identity – It’s just part of who I am.

    I also added:
“I thank you fat and weight for your service. You protected me well. I now release you with love. And I know I’m safe at my healthy weight. “

Thank you for the wonderful affirmations. I tap on EFT points as I say the affirmations. Helps take care of tailenders.
Right now the afforemations I am using for weightloss are -
Why do I weigh 55 kgs consistently and am fit and fabulous no matter what?
Why do I weigh 55 kgs no matter what I eat?
Why does the weight keep coming off no matter what I eat?
Why do I love to exercise?
Afforemations are affirmations stated like questions. Somehow seems to work better than affirmations.

As part of my practice I run a holistic weight release program. I agree with Joann, weight loss implies something to be found and returned while weight release implies something you are willing to let go of for good. That word change has been key in the success of my program as I work with my clients emotional ties to food and their weight. Great affirmations and I would love to include them as a handout to my clients with your permission. For my purposes I would add a few more such as:

I am releasing excess weight with every breath I take
I am grateful for learning how to release the excess weight without fear
I welcome the changes in my body, mind and spirit as I release the unwanted weight.

Thank you Carol, these are great ideas.
