Have opinions about the Republican candidates for the American presidential nomination?
Whatever you think of them, Energy Profiling puts a fun and interesting twist on the campaigns and debates. When you know the Energy Type of the candidates, you can see so clearly why they talk and act the way they do.
We’ve identified the Energy Type of 7 Republican candidates that have shown up recently in the news:
- Ron Paul
- Michele Bachmann
- Herman Cain
- Mitt Romney
- Jon Huntsman
- Newt Gingrich
- Rick Santorum
Can you guess their Energy Types before you watch the video?
Think of what each of the candidates are known for. What about them inspires their supporters?
All of their campaigns and messages are informed by the tendencies of their Energy Type. Who’s full of hopeful, new ideas? Who campaigns on swift, results-based solutions? Can you guess how the race is weighted with one particular Energy Type?
Watch the video to see pictures of the candidates and to discover their Types!
We mentioned the secondary Energy Type of one of the candidates. What about the others? Leave a comment and tell us what you think about the secondary Types of the other candidates.
Another candidate also joined the race after we filmed this video: Rick Perry. What do you think is his Energy Type?
I don’t endorse any candidate or political party on this blog. We share this information with you just for fun and learning’s sake. Doesn’t the world look clearer and a little more interesting when you see it through an Energy Profiling lens?
Your Energy Type is one of the most important things you can know about yourself. It helps you identify the reasons behind your natural tendencies and recognize them as gifts. I loved this segment. Thank you. Have you done a video on President Obama? It would be interesting to know what he, Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton are in your system and if they are all living their truth.

Dear Cammie, In my book, “It’s Just My Nature!” I teach that President Obama and Joe Biden are both Type 3′s, and Hilary Clinton is a Type 2. If you have not read it yet, I highly recommend it if you are really wanting to learn about Energy Profiling. Thanks for your comment. Carol Tuttle

Currently leading the Republican polls is Rick Perry, who appears to be a Type 3.

Oh, I knew Michele Bachmann was a Type 3 instantly. She may not dress like one, but her face, voice, and body language gave it away. She has a tendency to be rash, as well — often making inaccurate and incendiary remarks with no fact checking or attempt at being tactful.
I respect that she wants to make a difference in the world and is living true to her nature. However, as someone with a disabled brother and several gay friends, I find her positions (on health care and gay rights) to be repugnant, along with those of pretty much all the GOP candidates.
Living true to one’s nature is a beautiful thing, but it should not give anyone the license to treat others poorly — even if they’re gay or born with a pre-existing condition.

Thank you for including Ron Paul. The mainstream media tries to ignore him. I think because he’s a type 1 he is often underestimated and dismissed. But he’s a true scholar, gentleman and businessman and has served the country for decades, illuminating and educating everywhere he goes. Thanks again for not dismissing the type 1! He has as much to offer as the other candidates and ought to be a serious consideration.

Thank you for including Ron Paul! He has a lot of good ideas, especially on the monetary system. I knew he was a type 1. Is this why Ron Paul attracts so many young people?
Sarah Palin is also a Type 1. She and Ron Paul get made fun of in the media for being eccentric or goofy! Maybe that is because there are many type 4′s’ in politics. They expect more “gravitas”.
Are there any current Type 1 politicians we would all know, or is politics an unusual place for a type 1? Politics doesn’t seem very “fun”!
